1. Acceptance
By downloading, installing, or using the Run 42 application (“the app”), you agree to these terms of use. If you don’t agree with any part of them, don’t use the app.
2. What the app does
Run 42 generates a personalised marathon training plan from a short questionnaire, lets you track your sessions, and — optionally — compares them with your Strava activities. The app is intended for personal, non-commercial use.
3. Your commitments
You agree to:
- comply with the laws of your jurisdiction;
- not reverse-engineer, decompile, or modify the app;
- not use the app to infringe on the rights of others;
- respect the terms of any third-party services you connect (Strava, App Store, Google Play).
4. Intellectual property
The code, text, design, and plan-generation algorithm are protected by copyright. You receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app under the conditions set out here.
5. Your data and shared plans
When you publish a plan through the sharing feature, you grant us the right to store and serve that plan at the URL you chose for as long as sharing is enabled. You can revoke sharing at any time from inside the app. See also the Privacy Policy.
6. Health disclaimer
Run 42 provides a training plan for informational purposes. It is not a substitute for medical, physiotherapy, or coaching advice. If you have any doubt about your health, consult a qualified professional before starting or changing a programme. You train at your own risk.
7. No warranty
The app is provided “as is,” with no warranties of any kind, express or implied: no guarantee of uninterrupted availability, freedom from errors, or fitness for a particular purpose.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Run 42 is not liable for any direct or indirect damages (financial loss, injury, data loss) arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app.
9. Purchases
Payments are handled by the App Store or Google Play, whose terms apply. Run 42 is sold as a one-time purchase with no subscription, unless explicitly stated otherwise on the store listing.
10. Changes or discontinuation
We may update, modify, or discontinue the app at any time. If these terms change in a material way, the “Last updated” date at the top of this page will be updated. Continued use of the app after such changes means you accept them.
11. Suspension
We may suspend your access to the public-sharing feature in case of abuse, illegal content, or infringement of third-party rights.
12. Governing law
Unless overridden by mandatory consumer-protection rules in your jurisdiction, these terms are governed by the laws of France.
